Mikhal Weiner is a writer and musician, originally from Israel, currently living in Brooklyn with her wife, son and cat. She studied classical composition at Berklee College of Music, graduating with honors. These days she works as a freelance writer and translator, as well as co-directing community projects for Salomé ArtHaus. Her work, whether text or music, is deeply influenced by her experiences as an Israeli gay woman and her love of poetry and all genres of music. She loves writing about people, places, and the ways their stories intersect.
